Photography time travel to the early 20th century

Press photography from 1900 - The Haeckel Brothers

They came to Berlin in 1905 and founded their own image agency shortly after: Otto Haeckel (1872-1945) and Georg Haeckel (1873-1942) are among the most innovative and renowned press photographers of their time.

Their work includes expressive photo motifs from imperial times, World War I, and the Weimar Republic, extraordinary photos from every-day life and political events as well as war photography. At ullstein bild, you will find the most extensive collection of Haeckel photos worldwide. They will provide you with a glimpse of the social life of the early 20th century.
